Vicki
Walker, B.A.,
guides Albany Health Management Associates' research program,
leading efforts to develop and fund scientifically rigorous
research projects. She is an internationally recognized consultant
on chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) research and advocacy. She
has advised numerous organizations, researchers and individuals
on topics such as grant seeking, proposal writing and topic
selection, as well as public policy program planning and execution.
Ms. Walker spent 10 years on staff with the Chronic Fatigue
and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) Association of America,
where she served in many capacities, including editor, research
program director and grassroots advocacy program manager.
She continues to work with the agency, writing articles for
its newsletters and serving as lead author on a professional
education curriculum for allied health care professionals,
cosponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. |
