Albany Health Management Associates consults for a variety of not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, from national health organizations to the movie industry. Patricia Fennell, AHMA's President, directs a multidisciplinary team offering keynotes, lectures, workshops, ongoing technical assistance, clinical supervision and organizational planning to a variety of health/mental health organizations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. She also consults on managerial and development issues for a wide range of organizations.

AHMA provided the key consultation to a project of the New York State Office of Mental Health and New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault, a statewide initiative for team-building and networking of mental health and social service providers. This statewide project utilized Ms. Fennell's models of chronic syndromes and change. Ms. Fennell provided technical, managerial and creative consultation on I Remember Me, an award-winning film about the chronic illness experience, which premiered in 2001 and received enthusiastic reviews from numerous critics, including a "thumbs up" from Roger Ebert of The Chicago Sun Times. Patricia Fennell has consulted with a leading nonprofit organization specializing in dialysis and dialysis-related research and training, with 18 sites throughout the state of California; she assessed the functioning of several clinical sites, facilitated training, and provided supervisory consultation. Most recently, Ms. Fennell was appointed to provide consultation on behavioral health issues to the the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Patricia Fennell provided clinical/managerial consultation, strategic planning, and program development to the United Kingdom Retreat/Rehabilitation Project, a multi-intervention rehabilitation program for chronic syndrome patients and their clinicians, to be offered in the UK and France. AHMA also provides clinical consultation to the Capital Region Sleep Disorders Center regarding the impact of trauma and sexual abuse on sleep disorders and related medical conditions.
